All the objects and enumerations in ELMA Designer are in groups. The groups have the icon in ELMA Designer.
Groups can contain both objects and enumerations. All the groups must have unique names. The system does not allow creating several groups with the same name.
In ELMA Designer, groups have the following color scheme:
system groups have blue font (cannot be deleted);
user groups have black font (can be changed or deleted).
Creating an object group
To create an object group, click the right mouse button in the object/enumeration tree area and select Add Group in the context menu (fig. 1).

Fill in the required fields in the opened dialog box (fig. 2) and click OK.

Group Name *– name of the created object group. This field is required.
Parent Group – field for selecting a parent group. When you click , a dialog box for creating a new object group opens. Click to clear the Parent Group field. Click to open the drop down list, which contains all the object groups in the system. To select a group, click its name. If you leave the Parent Group field empty, the group will be saved in the tree without nesting.
Editing an Object Group
Editing an object group includes:
changing the object group name;
moving the object group to another parent group.
To edit an object group, click its name with the right mouse buttons and select Edit in the context menu (fig. 3).

Fill in the required fields in the opened dialog box (fig. 4) and click OK.

Moving user objects between groups
In ELMA, you can move only user objects from one group to another. To do so, open the page of the required object, click in the Group *field of the Common tab (fig. 5) and select the group to move the object to.

To save changes, click Save (fig. 5). The changes are applied after you have published the objects.
Deleting an Object Group
In ELMA, you can delete only user groups of objects and enumerations. To do so, select the required group in the list and click Delete in the toolbar. Confirm deleting the group in the opened dialog box.
Note, that all the objects or enumerations of the deleted group will be moved to the object group tree without nesting.
