Object Model

Object is an entity with a set of parameters and properties, which define its behavior. All the data in ELMA are stored in form of objects and their relationships. These are some examples of objects: Contractor, Task, Call and Deal.
Object Model is a collection of system objects and enumerations, their properties, parameters and relationships. The object model defines the structure of storing user data in the system.
You can manage the object model in ELMA Designer, Objects tab with the top (fig. 1) and left (fig. 2) panels.
Top and left panels allow viewing pages of all the objects and enumerations, and extending the object model, by creating new objects and enumerations or changing the existing ones.

There are system and user objects and enumerations in ELMA. The system administrator creates user objects and enumerations in ELMA Designer.
System objects and enumerations are created and configured by ELMA developers. You cannot delete these objects and enumerations but you can extend them. System objects and enumerations are blue in the list.
User objects and enumerations are created and configured in ELMA Designer, according to each company's requirements. The system users can create, change and delete these objects. User objects and enumerations are black in the list.

Objects and enumerations display modes

Objects and enumerations lists have two display modes: "Displayed Name" and "Class Name". You can select the display mode in the Show field of the Objects tab in ELMA Designer (fig. 3).
