Actions with Context Variables

In ELMA, you can create and edit context variables on the following tabs:
In addition, you can create a context variable in the settings window of an element added to the process graphic model, if it uses this variable to specify/store its properties, or in the settings window of process instance statuses. For example, on the Common tab of a swimlane's settings window, you can create a variable that will specify/store the swimlane executor.
When you edit a variable via the Form (context) tab of a Task settings window, the Property Settings window opens. When you edit a variable via the Context tab of the process page, the context variable page opens.
It is possible to delete a context variable only on the Context tab of the process page. If there is a published process version, which used this variable, ELMA will not delete the variable from the database, but will hide it in the list of process variables. When you try to create a new variable with the same name, ELMA will offer you to restore the one that was previously deleted. If you do not want to restore the deleted variable, change the Property Name of the new variable.
