Folder

The Folder type allows adding a path to the required ELMA folder.
In Web Application, a Folder field looks as shown in Fig. 1, which features an editing form of a property. To add a folder, click . To clear the field, click .

When you click  a pop-up window opens (fig. 2), which contains a folder tree, in which you can select the required folder. The folder tree contains all the folders, to which the current user has access permissions of at least View/Load level.

In Web Application, a Folder field looks as shown in Fig. 2, which features a view form of a property. When you click the folder name on the view form in Web Application, its page opens.

Folder type property settings in the Designer
When you use the Folder type, the Advanced tab displays additional fields, apart from the main fields.

Fig. 4 highlights the additional fields that are selected for the Folder type properties on the Advanced tab.

With permissions for creating – if this box is checked, when selecting folders in Web Application, the current user can select only those folders, to which he/she has access permissions to Create Documents and/or Full Access.
With permissions for editing – if this box is checked, when selecting folders in Web Application, the current user can select only those folders, to which he/she has access permissions to Edit and/or Full Access.
If the user attempts to select a folder, to which he/she does not have access, the Select button will be unavailable (fig. 5).
