Enumeration Page


The enumeration page display the full information on the enumeration.
To open the enumeration page:

"Common" tab

This tab (fig. 3) displays the fields that you fill in when creating an enumeration.

Displayed Name * – enumeration name, displayed in the enumerations list in ELMA Designer. This field is required.
Group * group, the enumeration is in. Click to open the dialog box for creating a new object group. Click to clear the Parent Group * field. Click to open the drop down list with all the object groups. This field is required.
Description – description of the enumeration.
"Data Structure" unit
Enumeration Name * - unique name of the enumeration. It is filled in automatically, when you fill the Displayed Name * field. You can enter this name manually, if necessary. This field is required.
Namespace * namespace, the enumeration belongs to. You cannot change this field for the system enumerations and for the user enumerations, which were saved and published (at least once), and the server was restarted. By default, all the user enumerations belong to the Configuration namespace, but you can select another one from the drop down list. To learn more about namespaces, see the respective Help section.

"Values" tab

This tab (fig. 4) displays the enumeration values. You can work with this tab only in user enumerations.

You can perform these actions with the context menu or toolbar buttons (fig. 5).

"Additional" tab

This tab (fig. 6) displays additional enumeration settings.

Display in the tree of types – display this enumeration in the types tree.
Note, that enabling or disabling this feature is available only for user enumerations. This feature is enabled for the system enumerations by default.
