Forms (Views) Tab

On this tab (fig. 1) you can select form settings schemes (Form Builder and Simple scheme), which contain creation, editing and view forms, used for the object in Web Application.

Form Builder

Form builder (fig. 1) allows designing the creation, editing and viewing forms of created objects and change the forms of existing objects. To learn more about the form builder, see the respective Help section.

Simple Scheme

Fig. 2 illustrates the simple scheme of the form settings.

The following display types are available for each form in this scheme.
 
Standard – standard creation, editing and viewing form of the object in Web Application:
  • Show variables in the common list on the main view – this option is selected by default.
  • Show variables in an extra tab – this option is available only for the system objects.
 
Razor markup – custom creation, editing and viewing form of the object in Web Application, which uses the Razor markup language:
  • Common list – display variables in the common list of the main view in Web Application. When this box is checked, a field is displayed, where you have to enter a form file path.
  • Extra tab – display variables on an extra tab in Web Application. This switch is available only for system objects.
Files with user forms must have the .cshtml extension and be stored in the following directories:
  • {Configuration folder} / WebApplication / Views
  • {Configuration folder} / WebApplication / Modules / {Module/section name folder} / Views
Note, that user forms may be in a random order in the Views folder.
