Creating Sub-Tasks on Task Page

To create a sub-task on the project task page click Actions – Create Sub-Task in the top menu (fig. 1).

Click Regular Sub-Task in the opened dialog box (fig. 2). When you click Sub-Task in Project Plan the project plan editing page with the project sub-task creation form opens. This form is similar to the project task creation form. The created sub-task will be added to the project plan. To learn more about creating a task in the project plan, see the respective Help section.

Fill in the required fields on the opened page (fig. 3) and click Save in the top menu.

Subject * – subject of the created task, displayed in the Tasks section an the Tasks portlet. This field is required.
Executor * – select the task executor. This field is required.
Start Date * – task start date. This field is required.
Specify Duration – specify the task duration:
Priority – indicates the task priority. This field is required.
Category – task category from the Task Category object. It is used for sorting tasks.
Description – created task description.
Add Document when Completing Task * :
 
Yes – when completing this task, the executor has to attach a document (Load Files field is required).
 
No – task can be completed without attaching files.
Attached Files – upload files from the local PC.
