Budget Objects Settings

To work with project budget in ELMA you have to fill in the Budget Revenue Item and Budget Expense Item objects.
You can find these object:
The system administrator assigns access to objects in Administration – Users – Access Settings – Global Access Settings – ELMA Designer – Access to all objects . The selected user groups can view, add, edit and delete instances of the objects in the Web Application.
You can configure access to view, add, delete and export instances of each object and edit the shared filter tree in Administration – Users – Access Settings – Objects .

Budget Revenue Item

This object (fig. 3) displays Revenue items, which can be used in the project budget. Instances if this object can be used in any project. This object is hierarchical.

When you edit existing object instances, the changes you make will be applied to all the projects, where the objects are used.
Form for creating an instance of this object looks like this (fig. 4):

Name * – name of the created item. This field is required.
Is a group – create a folder instead of an object instance (when selecting Yes). You can use folders in this object to group instances by certain parameters.
Parent object – to create an object instance, leave this field empty. To created a nested item, select the parent item in this field.
Description – description of the created item.

Budget Expense Item

This object (fig. 5) displays the expense items, which can be used in the project budget. Instances of this object can be used in any project. This object is hierarchical.

When you edit existing object instances, the changes you make will be applied to all the projects, where the objects are used.
Form for creating an instance of this object is similar to the one of the Budget Revenue Item object.
