"Company Employees" Portlet

Portlet functions:

search employees and view their information.
view new employees over the period, specified in the portlet settings;
view the employees' birthdays over the period, specified in the portlet settings;

You can see an example of the "Company employees" portlet in fig. 1.

Portlet management buttons:

– the portlet is expanded. Click this button to collapse it.

- the portlet is collapsed. Click this button to expand it.

- open the custom portlet settings.

Search Employees

The quick search string allows selecting one employee (fig. 2) and view their information by clicking

(fig. 3).

Custom Portlet Settings

Each portlet has general settings, configured by the system administrator. Users can change the custom portlet settings, when configuring the main page.

Some of the settings, illustrated in fig. 4, are general. To learn more about them, see the respective Help section.

Display employee birthdays – select the period for displaying the company employees birthdays: today, within one week, within one month, until the end of the year. The portlet will display the employees, whose birthdays are within the selected period.

Display new employees – select the period for displaying new company employees: within one day, within one week, within one month, from the beginning of the year. The portlet will display the employees, whose date of employment is within the selected period.

Show if no data found – show or hide the Birthdays and New employees sections, if there are no employees to show.

After you have completed configuration, click:

Save - settings will be saved and the window will be closed.

Save and continue - settings will be saved, but the window will not be closed and you will be able to continue configuring.
