The easiest way to access an ELMA business process from an external application is to send an HTTP request. HTTP-GET and HTTP-POST requests are supported.
With an HTTP request you can only start a business process. For more complex tasks, use web services.
To start a business process via an HTTP request you first need to generate a token. Save the generated token to add it to the HTTP request. If you want to start a process with certain initial values of context variables, you will need the Property Name value of these variables (Fig. 1).
