Rows

Rows allow you to analyze a KPI value from different angles.
For example, you can see how many product units of each type are sold.
A row is an ELMA object. You need to fill it in with elements into which you want to break down the KPI value.
In the Objects section of ELMA Designer in KPI ManagementRows you can see only those rows that have the Display in the list of objects option selected on the Additional tab of their pages.
Rows are created and set up in ELMA Designer in the KPI tab, Rows section (fig. 1).

Complete information about a row is available on the row’s page in corresponding tabs.

Creating a row

To create a row, right-click on the Rows section in the KPI tree and select Create in the context menu (fig. 2).

The object creation wizard will open (fig. 3).

Creating a row requires several steps and is similar to creating an object. You can read more about it in ELMA Help.
Fill in all the required fields and click Create. The row page will open.
Attention!
To make all the changes and the object available in Web Application you need to publish the object and restart the server.
Expanding a KPI to rows
To expand a KPI to a row, go to its page, open the Common tab and check the Expand to a Row option in the Row of Values section. The Configure a row of values section will appear where you need to select the By Objects option (fig. 4). On the right-hand side there is a drop-down list where you need to select the row element that you want to use. You can learn more about settings of the Configure a row of values unit here.

You can read more about expanding KPIs in the respective Help section.

Rows in Web Application

In Web Application, you need to create instances of the Rows object.
Then enter its plan and fact values on the KPI page.
If the KPI does not have a proper value, a chart of actual row values for the current period is displayed.
If the KPI has a proper value, graph of plan and fact proper KPI values is displayed.
