Filter Page


Filter page contains all the filter information and settings, and allows editing it.
To open a filter page:

Filter authors can edit filters in the My Filters folder; users with permissions to edit the tree of shared filters can edit filters in the Shared Filters folder. The permissions are assigned in Administration - Users - Access Settings - Global Access Settings - Edit shared filters tree .

The filter page (fig. 4) consists of four tabs:

Filter tab

Specify the filter name in the Name field (fig. 3).
Expand advanced search when opening a filter - specify, whether the advanced search form should be opened.
Search Valuesadvanced search form with search parameters that can be edited. Click on the section name to collapse/expand it.
EQL-search – configure a filter with an EQL-query.

On the Filter fields tab (fig. 5), select the fields to display on the advanced search form.

Table Columns Settings tab

Use Default Settings – use the default table column settings. You can set the default settings when configuring the data display table. If no default settings are configured for the table in the current section, then the table is configured according to the base attributes of objects in ELMA Designer.
Filter columns by object type – filter the columns, that can be added to the table by the object type.
Select fields – change the standard settings of the table column (fig. 4).
Sort list by column – select a column, according to which the filter results will be sorted in the ascending or descending order.
Number of items displayed in the table – number of rows in the filter results table per page.

Access Permissions tab

On the Access Permissions tab (fig. 7) you can assign access to the filter to different users.

After you've made the necessary changes, save the filter by clicking Save in the toolbar (fig. 7).
