"Interfaces" Section

You can configure and create system interfaces in Administration – Portal Settings – Interfaces (fig. 1).

This section displays all the system and custom interfaces.

Default Interface and Lite are system interfaces. You can configure the system interfaces, but you cannot delete them.

Custom interfaces are created when implementing and configuring the system. You can configure or delete these interfaces.

Actions with interfaces

Creating an interface

To create a new interface:

click Add Interface in the toolbar of the Interfaces List page (fig. 2);

in the opened window, enter the interface name in the Name field, and select the interface type in the Interface Type field.

Standard Interface – the interface will be based on the Default Interface.

Lite Interface - the interface will be based on the Lite interface. (fig. 3).

to create the interface, click Save, to cancel creating the interface, click Cancel.

When you create a new interface, all the settings are copied from the current interface by default.

Interface Settings

You can edit the interface on the interface page. To open it, click the interface name in Administration – Portal Settings – Interfaces (fig. 4).

Editing an interface includes configuring:

Interface page buttons:

	edit an interface parameter.
	select the menu, set of main pages or toolbar.
	create a new menu or the set of main pages.
	create a copy of the menu or the set of main pages.
	open the register of the menu or the toolbar settings. Register is the list of menus or toolbar settings available for this interface. It allows editing a menu or a toolbar.

After you have created and configured the interface, use it for the required users. To do so:

open Administration – Users;
open a user page;
click Edit in the toolbar;
on the opened page, select the required interface in the Interface field (fig. 5). By default, the Default Interface is used for all the users.

Deleting an interface

To delete an interface, click

to the right of the interface name. The Default Interface will be applied for all the users, who used the deleted interface.
