Portal Settings


Portal settings in the ELMA system allow you to customize the interface for user roles. It provides users with quick access to the frequently used information and actions.
You can configure the portal settings (interfaces, pages, portlets, action registry) of ELMA in Administration – Portal Settings.
Fig. 1 illustrates an example of the Portal Settings page.

By default, the Portal page displays:
The Configure the interface unit is at the top of the page. It allows you to enable the portal configuration mode. This mode allows you to view the interface being configured, change the user, who views the page and configure separate areas of the interface.
To enable the portal configuration mode, click the Enable button, in the right part of the Configure the interface unit. After you have enabled the mode, the page will look like this (fig. 2):

To disable the portal configuration mode, click the Disable button, in the right part of the Configure the interface unit.

Toolbar Buttons

Go back to the previous page.
When you click the Page button, a page for creating a portlet page opens.
When you click the button, a drop down menu opens, allowing you to create:
  • a portlet page;
  • a text page;
  • a role page;
