Objects in Web Application


In ELMA, objects are displayed in the Objects section (fig. 1). The Objects section displays only those objects, which have the Display in the list of objects setting enabled on the Additional tab of the object page in ELMA Designer. Note, that this section does not display enumerations.

You can create the object structure in ELMA Designer, and the object instances on the pages (fig. 2) of the required objects in Web Application. An object page cannot display the "Block" type properties, only an object instance page can display them.

In ELMA, objects are used for storing and structuring data. Objects also allow creating sets of values, available in other system objects. For example, you can add a Deal Type property to the Deal object and create instances of the Deal Type object in Web Application. In this case, the deal creation form will display this property as a drop down list with the deal types.
