Appoint User to Job Position

A system user can occupy one, several or none job positions. The system administrator can appoint a user to a job position, when creating their account. The user's job position can later be changed/appointed, when editing the user profile.
Job positions are created when you develop the organizational structure in ELMA Designer.
If a user is not appointed to any job position, the Job Position column in the users list displays the Assign button (fig. 1).

To appoint a user to a job position, click the button in the Users List.
To change a user's job position, click their job position name in the Users List (fig. 2).
The opened window will display the organizational structure, described in ELMA Designer, and the names of the employees, appointed to job positions. Select the job positions, to appoint the user to, and click Select. The organizational structure items on each level are sorted alphabetically.
You can search in the organizational structure tree, similarly to searching in the Organizational Structure portlet.
