First ELMA Start

After you have installed ELMA, you need to verify that it has been installed correctly and then activate the program. To test the server, open a web browser and enter http://localhost:<port address>: in the URL bar. localhost is the IP address of the machine with ELMA ; port address is the port number, specified at the step 7 of system installation (by default 8000).
Once it's done, in your browser you will see a progress bar that shows server starting progress.

To activate the program, you need to get the ELMA activation key. You can get the key directly from the ELMA company or from the Partners, if you have a licensing agreement. Enter the received activation key in the registration pop-up window (fig. 2) in the Activation key field and click Activate.
After the program is activated, you will see a pop-up window where you will need to specify a new password for the system administrator (fig. 3).

Leave the Current Password field empty, fill in the fields New Password and Confirm Password and then click Change Password. After that, the password for the system administrator will be set and you will sign in.
You don't need to change the password if you select the existing configuration at the step 7 of system installation. You will see a authorization window, where you can enter a login and a password of any user who has an account in the existing configuration (fig. 4).
