If the ECM+ application is activated, then the Record Card Attribute data type will be available in the data types tree (fig. 1). This data type allows creating an attribute, which will store values of the selected record card attribute.

Fig. 2 shows additional fields of the Record Card Attribute type on the Common tab.

Record Card - select the record card with attributes that you want to add to the attributes of this document type.
Attribute - select the record card attribute, which needs to be added to the attributes of this document type.
Create an attribute of the Record Card Attribute data type for the Contract document type. It will store information on the category, in which the document is registered (fig. 3).

We recommend that you uncheck the Show boxes for the creation and editing forms on the Advanced tab of the document type attribute page (fig. 4). Thus, when creating or editing the document, this attribute will not be displayed, since its value is created when registering the document.

The Category attribute value will be displayed on the document page in Web Application (fig. 5). If the document is not registered, Not selected will be displayed. This attribute is filled in automatically when you register the document.
