By default, this portlet (fig. 1) shows absent users over different periods. The information about absent users is taken from the absence schedule, located in Administration – Users – Absence Schedule.
Note, that this portlet does not contains data from the substitutions schedule.

By default this portlet displays the current user and their subordinates and superior (according to the company's organizational structure). If the user has the respective access permissions, they can view all the users in the portlet.
Data are grouped by periods in the Absent Users portlet. The period units contain tables with the list of absent users and reasons of their absence. Click on a unit name to expand or collapse it.
The portlet contains the following units:
Today – users, who are absent today.
Tomorrow – users, who will be absent tomorrow.
This week – users, who are absent this week.
This month – users, who are absent this month.
Next month – users, who will be absent the next month.
