"Object" Type Property


"Object" type property is an object property, which has another system object as the data type, instead of simple or system type (fig. 1).

Creating an "Object" type property

You can create and configure the structure of an "Object" type property in ELMA Designer, and fill this property with values in Web Application. To learn more about "Object" type property, see the respective Help section.

Editing an "Object" type property

You can edit an "Object" type property on the Properties tab of the required object page.
To view or edit an "Object" type property page, open the Properties tab of the required object page and:
A dialog box for editing the "Object" property is similar to the dialog box for creating the "Object" property. To learn more, see the respective Help section.

Deleting an "Object" type property

To delete an "Object" type property page, open the Properties tab of the required object page and:
Confirm deleting in the opened dialog box.

Links between objects

When you create an "Object" type property, you have to specify the type of objects link. These are the link types, used in ELMA:
There are also the multiple (1-N) and many to many (inversion) link types. For example, one contract can have several additional agreements, acts and invoices. However, these types are seldom used, when working with the "Object" type property.
